Very nice. The key for me with this haiku that makes it successful is seeing the leaves as castaways. The point of haiku is to have a minimalist approach to nature, and there find some truth. If I were to contemplate what the truth here is, I may be able to find something to consider. That is the sign of a successful haiku. Well done.
